The legacy of Malu Pet Bliss begins 20 years ago with Tonya as the CEO of the Malu Pet Bliss. She has been a pillar of the Oahu Ohana connecting with people and caring for animal causes. She began as a practicing pet nurse at a veterinary hospital and realized that many people were looking for a way to keep their pets in the safe, loving environment of their own home while they traveled, worked, or played. So in 2006, she traded in her successful career in nuclear engineering for a rewarding one in pet care services to found Malu Pet Bliss.
In 2026, Tonya has lovingly passed the reigns of Malu Pet Bliss to Shani as the new CEO & Owner to continue the legacy of TLC to pets in Oahu area and beyond. Shani has started her journey on Rover 8 years ago as a Star Sitter which grew to Creative Petcare with host of amazing clients in California and Hawaii. Her career has spanned from being a computer engineer, creative and entrepreneur. for several years. Shani plans on transforming how we view petcare, traveling with pets and holistic approach to caring for pets' wellbeing with a touch of luxury. We are growing our team this fall and will feature them here for you to get to know them better.
Our trustworthy, dependable services have allowed us to pursue my passion of enhancing the lives of pets while giving pet parents comfort in knowing their pets are in great hands. We also use our pet nursing skills to bring the added feature of medical care for your pets in their own home that ranges from administering subcutaneous fluids each day to checking insulin levels by drawing blood.
